BEAMS mini was developed with the goal of extending the BEAMS brand's sense of security and trust to children's clothing . The brand emphasizes the concept of allowing children to freely choose their own styles, rather than simply matching adult styles. This sub-brand focuses on cute and playful styles for children aged 3-7 , and slightly more mature "boy" and "girl" styles for children aged 8-12 .
